1. What Sellza is

Sellza is an online marketplace. Independent creators (“sellers”) open a store and sell digital files such as PDF notes, ebooks and ZIP templates to buyers. We provide the store, checkout, file delivery and payouts.

We act as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. The seller, not Sellza, is the creator and owner of each product, and the contract of sale for a product is between the buyer and that seller. We do not write, edit or endorse products, although we review listings before they go live and may remove them.

2. Accounts

  • Buyers do not need an account. If you sign in with the email you used at checkout, you can see your purchases in My library.
  • Sellers must be at least 18 years old, use their real name and keep their sign-in email secure.
  • You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.

3. Sellers' responsibilities

If you sell on Sellza, you confirm and agree that:

  • You created each product or have every right needed to sell it, and it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights.
  • Your title, description, price, language and cover honestly describe what the buyer will get.
  • Your content is lawful and is not obscene, defamatory, hateful, misleading, pirated (including leaked exam papers or copied books), harmful to children, or otherwise prohibited by Rule 3(1)(b) of the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
  • You will answer buyer questions about your product, and you accept refunds under our Refund policy.
  • You give us accurate PAN, bank and (if registered) GSTIN details, and you are responsible for your own income tax and GST.
  • You let us store, copy, stamp and deliver your files, and show your title, description and cover, so that we can run your store and market Sellza.

You are solely responsible for your products and listings. We may refuse, unpublish or remove any product, suspend a store, or hold payouts if we believe these terms or the law are being broken, or if we receive a valid legal order.

4. Buying on Sellza

  • Prices are in Indian rupees and are set by the seller. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your full card or UPI details.
  • After payment you can download your file right away. We also email you a link.
  • Every PDF you buy is stamped with your name. It is licensed to you for personal use only. You may not share, resell, upload or publish it, in whole or in part.
  • Refunds follow our Refund policy.

5. Fees and payouts

  • Sellers pay a platform fee of 5% of the sale price, plus 18% GST on that fee. There is no monthly or setup fee. Payment gateway charges are included in our fee.
  • We deduct TDS under Section 194-O of the Income-tax Act, 1961 and, for GST-registered sellers, TCS under Section 52 of the CGST Act, 2017, as the law requires.
  • Your share of each sale is transferred to your verified bank account through Razorpay. Settlement times depend on Razorpay and your bank.
  • If a sale is refunded, the full amount is recovered from your balance or future payouts.
  • We may change our fees with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes do not affect past sales.

6. Intellectual property and takedowns

Sellers keep ownership of their products. Sellza's name, logo and software belong to us. If you believe a product on Sellza infringes your rights, write to our Grievance Officer (below) with the product link, proof of your rights and your contact details. We will review it and, where appropriate, remove the product and notify the seller.

7. Things you must not do

  • Break the law, or help anyone else do so.
  • Upload malware, or try to access accounts, files or data that are not yours.
  • Remove or hide the buyer name stamp on any file.
  • Use fake buyers, fake orders or chargeback fraud.
  • Scrape the site or put an unreasonable load on our systems.

8. Our liability

We work hard to keep Sellza running, but the service is provided “as is”. As an intermediary we are not responsible for the content of products sold by sellers. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees we earned from the transactions the claim relates to, or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Sellza at any time. Sellers can close their store from the dashboard once pending payouts and refunds are settled. Buyers keep access to past purchases for as long as the seller's file is available and the law allows.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [City] have jurisdiction, subject to your rights as a consumer. Please contact us first; most problems are solved quickly that way.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for important changes, email sellers in advance. Continuing to use Sellza means you accept the updated terms.

12. Grievance Officer

Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, you can raise a complaint with our Grievance Officer:

  • Name: [Grievance officer name]
  • Designation: [Designation]
  • Email: [grievance@your-domain]
  • Address: [Legal entity name], [Registered address]
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST, except public holidays

We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt. Requests to remove content that is clearly unlawful (for example, sexual content involving a person without consent) are acted on within 24 hours.
